Fall

When we walked outside yesterday morning (back home), it was like fall had *just* arrived. The day before, everything was green. And now, tons of leaves had fallen, and all these beautiful colors emerged. I was sad I didn't get the chance to stick around and take more pictures. But guess what? The rest of the state is ahead of us and has already been experiencing the change. My drive from Memphis to Nashville alone was filled with fall colors. I'm not sure if I'm passing through Gatlinburg or not, but that supposed to be amazing in the fall, too. If it is, you know I'll stop for a photo op.

Tom's Farm

There's a farm out in Oakland, TN that my mom's friend, Mrs. Birdie, knows about. She meets up with my mom every year, with my son, niece & nephews in tow, to take part in the corn maze and pumpkin patch. As far as I can tell, it's just called "Tom's Farm", but I can't link you to it because I can't find it online. I can't tell you how to get there because it's way out in the sticks.
